that hurt lenny. did you know two of clemson's best coaches played for bama? the current coach played there in the 90's, the other was danny ford who brought clemson their lone national championship.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:except my team has like 27 national championshipsdarth_vedder wrote:we aren't so different you and ilennytheweedwhacker wrote:pretty much the same with me for alabama...i'll occasionally watch the majority of other games, but usually it's just bits and pieces or i'll be playing on the internet while they're ondarth_vedder wrote:I have ESPN Goal Line, which is basically the same as the NFL Redzone, but I think it only shows you the games on the ESPN / ABC channels.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i don't really watch random games between teams i don't really care about in college, but i do for the nfl

oh, i know. i wish i had more to back up with clemson. they were a powerhouse in the 70's & 80's, fell out completely in the 90's, were above average in the 2000's (bowden years), and now have started to become good again. hopefully they keep winning.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i apologize i only meant it in jest...yeah i knew dabo played there, but i don't think i'm familiar with forddarth_vedder wrote:that hurt lenny. did you know two of clemson's best coaches played for bama? the current coach played there in the 90's, the other was danny ford who brought clemson their lone national championship.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:except my team has like 27 national championshipsdarth_vedder wrote:we aren't so different you and ilennytheweedwhacker wrote:pretty much the same with me for alabama...i'll occasionally watch the majority of other games, but usually it's just bits and pieces or i'll be playing on the internet while they're ondarth_vedder wrote:I have ESPN Goal Line, which is basically the same as the NFL Redzone, but I think it only shows you the games on the ESPN / ABC channels.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:i don't really watch random games between teams i don't really care about in college, but i do for the nfl

lenny, did you graduate from U of A? Or do you just root for them because you are from there? If it is the latter, then stop being a d*ck to darth_vedder.

Maybe if you hadn't put your RM info on your application, you would have gotten accepted.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:we all can't afford to go to the big state school, barrE.H. If I'm home I tend to watch quite a few college games on a Saturday. There are so many on at once it is pretty easy to find an entertaining game. I don't think I've watched an entire NFL game all season. 2 of the 4 Sunday games here are Rams and Chiefs games. No thanks.

Re: College Football
Yeah, that's a good point. Once Game Day is over and the nooners kickoff, there are games on a lot of channels. One of them is typically interesting, or may feature teams your team is facing soon. That is a definite advantage for college ball. On Sunday's it's normally two games on at 1pm (eastern), and one game on at 4pm (or vice versa).Monkey_Driven wrote:If I'm home I tend to watch quite a few college games on a Saturday.
