Couple thoughts:
I have no idea why I listed Dexter as a show I didn't watch. I watched all but the last season and a half.

I finally watched Deadwood. I was underwhelmed. Season 2 was good, but 1 and 3 didn't do much for me.

American Horror Story has declined so quickly I am not even sure why I still watch it.

Walking Dead has improved and is still fun, but not a great show by any stretch.

Better Call Saul turned out to be a wonderfully pleasant surprise.

I recommend Vikings, Black Sails, The Knick and Outlander.

TV is fine. If there was ever such a thing as a golden age, we're still in it.

Better Call Saul is tremendous
I enjoyed Hannibal, with the exception of the first half of season 3.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
