Glenn will appear again in some form or in a flashback - per Scott Gimple.
Spoiler: show
If Neagen bashes Zombie Glenn, that would be sooooo lame.

That was a fantastic ep.
They obviously meant to leave it ambiguous so we can find out next week that he's still alive. If a main character is going to die, they would do it in a much more clear cut, dramatic fashion, and usually in front of the rest of the group.

:| What a stupid and incredibly underwhelming way to die if that really happened. I'd be really disappointed. On the other hand it would also be incredibly unbelievable for someone to survive that.
Not really feeling this episode aside from that, either. Standard 'group of people (can't afford to have too many main characters in one episode!) avoiding some walkers' episode. Bleh. Always trapped in a small building, everytime something stupid happens. I liked the beginning of season 5 so much more.

Here's what I don't like about the way Glenn was (most likely) able to survive that. We know that being covered in dead flesh makes the zombies not notice you. But Glenn is being covered in freshly dead blood and guts, which the zombies clearly are interested in. Unless they are all distracted within about twenty seconds, that many zombies are just going to chew through Nicholas and get to Glenn.

Carcasses are never picked clean. The window must close when they start to turn.

What about Rick cutting himself while killing walkers? Wouldn't some Z blood get into the cut?

I would say yes. It's a very enjoyable show. To my memory, it gets a little better every season.
And I just want to clarify: in the moment, I was very affected by last night's episode's big moment. A tear may have come to my eye, and I think I said "No" at least five or six times. People are putting it down, but I was into it.

Yeah I had no reaction to what happened except confusion. I kept wondering what the trick was. It didn't make TV sense. "Real world" sense maybe but not TV. It can't be what it appeared. I think it's probably obvious what the explanation is going to be but the way the scene was shot the physics are all wrong.

Anybody know the significance of the cut on Rick's hand in the comic?

Yeah I thought this was going to be how it happened on the show. But from the time he got cut and zombie blood in it until the end of the show, it would be too late, the virus would be spread already. So I guess Rick is invincible.

Also, I have a comics question. Do they ever address whether or not there is anyone that is immune to the virus? Or does this virus affect every single human being, which is likely impossible?

I think he's still alive. It would be a bit of a tragedy if he did. But, only because Carl is still alive. If any major character deserves an unceremonious disembowelment on this show, its Carl.

IMO, only Rick and Carl are safe. I can see any other character dying at any time.

No, but the only way it would ever be confirmed is when some dies then they don't turn. I'm not sure I would see the point.
