I don't understand release dates.

This movie comes out on December 18th, but I have tickets to a 7:30p, 12/17 show.

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Movie studios and theaters discovered they can make more money by doing 7 pm and 10 pm showings instead of midnight releases. It is odd.

It is great for fans too, confusing for discussing the release date though.

Yea, why not just make 10 the loudest and turn them up to 10?

Also it's really unfortunate because I think there was tons of potential. Could have been a good story. Also to waste Liam needing and ewan on such terrible writing
Someone did a fan edit that cuts all three movies into one 2 hr movie.

I don't think that is the original Phantom Edit actually. The original Phantom Edit is just EP1 cut down without all of the Jar Jar stuff and talk of midicholorians, etc. I've never seen the 3 moves cut down to 2hours, but that's just a bit too much.

I re-watched AOTC yesterday too. It's a few steps ahead of TPM, which isn't saying much. In this one the "laser sword" fighting is definitely the worst. I remember thinking it was cool to see Yoda using a saber but really it's all just a video game (much like the droid factory scene). Where TPM is meant for children, AOTC is meant for adolescents.

The stuff I like most is Obi-Wan getting away and doing his own thing for most of the movie, and really Ewan McGregor is one of the most redeeming parts of the PT. I do really like seeing the Jedi Temple and all the younglings practicing with their kiddie sabers though!

>>Around the survivors; a perimeter create

I laughed out loud when he says that.

Should we start a thread for the prequel trilogy?

We really could use another Star Wars thread.

It seems like a lot of work though. I hate moving posts from one thread to another.

I say keep the discussion here as it does feed into all the speculation around TFA.
