I have to think this will be challenged in the courts. Seems like a huge overstep.

Wait, does anyone actually believe that how the John Doe investigations were used in recent years was useful or appropriate? I could be mistaken, but the reason there is so much attention is that this particular tool is rather overly broad and novel.
I love that Scott Walker stomped the public unions. We could do with more of that.

Pretty cool moment when Jeb attacked Rubio and the moderator yelled, "finish him!" as Rubio devoured Jeb's candidacy-soul.
RIP Jeb!.
RIP Jeb!.

I watched the news this morning, read a CNN article, and listened to the radio for a bit, and the coverage of this was fucking awful. Lots of talk about how bad some things were, but none of them even directly referenced anyone's questions and answers.

LOL @ GOP candidates tackling the "mainstream media".
FOX News has been the No. 1 cable news network for like 15 years now, often times doubling the ratings of the second place finisher.
Also,
FOX News has been the No. 1 cable news network for like 15 years now, often times doubling the ratings of the second place finisher.
Also,
Fox News Channel is home to the Top 14 cable news shows among total viewers for July 2015. FNC has now had the Top 14 shows for 17 consecutive months. FNC also has eight of the Top 10 in the key A25-54 demo.
The O’Reilly Factor has been the No. 1 show in both categories for 176 consecutive months, since December 2000. The nightly repeat of O’Reilly even finished ahead of all non-FNC programming in both categories for the month of July.

Re: Election 2016
It's so close to cult like mind washing it's scary. What i find interesting is how common this is for conservative parties even outside the US. There's clearly a model they all follow because there are too many similarities for it to be a coincidence. It's an extremely effective and nearly effortless way of getting a decent amount of votes. They just repeat the same things until they're accepted as the absolute truth.turned2black wrote:LOL @ GOP candidates tackling the "mainstream media".

When you read comments on articles, it almost seems as they where written by one individual because they're limited to repeating the same talking points.
Tackling the mainstream media it's a battle they can't lose. As long as media outlets don't accept a strongly Christian and lightly xenophobic agenda the choir they're preaching to will cheer with enthusiasm at every dig. These people don't see their "politics" as far or moderate even, in their minds they're the only acceptable option anything else is extreme and will lead to destruction or something.

Re: Election 2016
Even as they make the candidates talk nonsense, they still get at something real about the candidates. Carson with the puzzle is just perfect.
