I think this album/band is deserving of its own thread apart from The National.
I am absolutely obsessed with No Time to Crank the Sun at the moment, and really enjoying the album as a whole.

I like how light it sounds musically compared to The National, but I'm really enjoying how Matt sounds on this record quite a bit. Trouble Will Find Me grew on me, but initially I came away with a major sense of sameness with a lot of the songs in the middle of the album. This feels like a nice change up from that. Paul is Alive and Crank the Sun are standouts for me so far.

Matt Berninger is a genius.
"I'm the Man to Be" is an awesome song.
I'm really loving this album.

My favorites too.
He gets on my nerves the way he repeats annoying lyrics (here and in The National), but over all I like it.

Did you ever give the six hour recording of Sorrow a chance? I'd love to see you live tweet that.

I'd rather watch 6 hours of Terminator Genisys.

Obviously I was wrong about this being thread-worthy, but No Time To Crank the Sun is easily one of my favorite songs this year.

It should be thread worthy! I am really enjoying this album. And I have tickets to see ElVy on Saturday night! I'm pumped!

That's awesome. Do you know if they're throwing in a few National songs to the set or is it just a short show?

The only set I have seen was short. They play the whole album and one cover. Short and sweet.

Not sure. Just wasn't moved at all. It wasn't bad to be sure. But just didn't crab me.
