That's a low bar, Joey. No need to pick on Chris. Hasn't he suffered enough?

I'm trying to find a common ground and share in his misery. His Lions and my Chiefs are both woefully terrible, especially in the post-season. It was meant as an olive branch.

Huh, now I'm lost. Compared to the Lions, the Chiefs have plenty of playoff wins in the Super Bowl era. And even a Super Bowl victory!

I was talking about since 2002 as is posted in his post. The Chiefs last playoff win came in the 93/94 season.

I kinda figured that's what you were thinking, but Chris' point was that his suffering goes back to 1967.

Yeah, I don't see where the fans of any franchise can even begin to comprehend the Lions ineptitude.

Sure. And I feel for him. And we've had conversations in the past about our respective franchises and I conceded that I was off base in saying the Chiefs were worse than the Lions. And this was a way to strengthen a common bond between the two of us, as a way to heal all I've done.

But then you came in here with your perfect season and your goddamn back to back Super Bowls and your greatest quarterback of all time and your best franchise in the history of the goddamn sport and tried to drive a wedge between us again.

Not really, when did the franchise start, 78? Detroit was 21 years into a playoff winless streak at that point.

Between 1958 and 1982, the Detroit Lions were 0-1 in playoff games. 1 playoff game in 24 years.

Lots of Playoff heartbreak for the home fans. well not really, given they have had 1 home playoff game since 1957.
