Sounds good man. I came across this the other day...

The masked animator known as 'Boneface' was on Jools Holland with the band during 'If I Had A Tail'

Pretty much stayed away from this till it was released, but clicked on that above link and had a listen to the youtube clip - fuck I'm excited for this now!

I wonder why they've sent Alaine Johannes out to do a few solo songs first? Was this part of the broadcast?

Possibly. I just wondered if there was maybe a problem backstage or something that I'd missed.

I had no idea this concert stream was happening, awesome.

Also yes, the new Queens of the Stone Age album is pretty damn great. It's totally Lullabies to Paralyze and Them Crooked Vultures Part 2 but who cares, it's still awesome.

It is awesome but I'd also say it's light years ahead of LTP.

I'm glad I caught this thing on the second song, I still haven't ever seen QOTSA live and if this is any indicator they still bring it. Great set so far.

Has anyone else noticed that the first album is out of print again? What the fuck is that about?

Weird...
*clutches cherished first print-run vinyl copy*

Very serviceable Trent-esque background vocals on Kalopsia

Smooth Sailing sounded great. Best Little Sister I've heard from them followed.

Watching the 15 minute video now. Other than a few singles, this band hasn't truly grabbed me since Songs for the Deaf. But man, I might be back in the game now.

'I Appear Missing' isn't so far from A Crow Left of the Murder era Incubus.
