For sure, but I think their inability to name the new film's characters shows why they don't know this. Mike is a really fantastic reviewer, and it's obvious that he was a huge fan of the OT, but I have a feeling that the prequels disillusioned him (and, ironically, gave him his internet fame) in a way that probably causes him to not track down rumors and minutia about these new films. I'm really looking forward to their review of this.

The most intriguing shot in that trailer is Leia. She's obviously on the bridge of some vessel but why the big look of concern? Is Rey the lost daughter they've found? Is it the moment she realises that the other guys have her?

The OT was directed by three different people. And Disney has said (I'll see if I can find the link) that JJ is sorta gonna oversee the development of the world. Sorta how Lucas had approval over all that shit back in the day. I'm not sure exactly what Disney meant by all of that, or how much literal control JJ has or wants. But I think he's agreed to "grandfather" this new trilogy or whatever.

Either way, I think it's a good idea to have different artists take shots at these things.
