I spent about 7 years doing nothing but teaching and playing world of warcraft, with occasional breaks on RM. And I find myself unexcited for this movie. A good trailer could change my mind

Curious as to why you didn't watch the trailer before making your previous post about how a good trailer could help change your mind?

That picture of the orc that they posted a few days ago didn't inspire confidence.

it hadn't loaded, and I assumed it was that useless 15 second trailer teaser.

Ehh, wayyyy too much terrible CGI. I'll give it a shot, but, visually, it looks a cross between Shrek and The Hobbit. Not encouraging.

Looks like a videogame with some real actors sprinkled in it. Might as well have gone 100% CGI. Weird style.

I am the target audience for this, and they did a great job capturing the aesthetic of the game. Having said that, nothing about that trailer ramped up my excitement

I have never played the video game, but I thought it looked fun. The orcs look pretty good IMO.

Yeah the humans in the game are as stylized as the other characters. I would rather see that.

I'm sure this movie has no fewer than 200,000 writers and executives and marketers slaving over every detail, Over/Under.

It will probably make some decent cash.

I really liked the first two movies Duncan Jones directed. And I was pretty hopeful when it was announced that he would be co-writing the script, but that trailer is pretty terrible.

that baby grows up to become the most important character in the game. Warcraft is a game steeped in lore and history, and I wonder how the movie will balance just throwing things in for hardcore fans vs necessary exposition vs not wanting the movie to feel like a wikipedia entry plus some fights
