Here's some reasons why that looks like bupkis:
Spoiler: show
(1) Could the writers be stupid enough to have the one black guy in the sequels be the son of the one black guy in the OT? They might be dumb, but I don't think they can be that dumb.

(2) That's not the officially branded name of that product. Notice how the name includes "Episode 7"? None of the merchandise that's been released so far has had the word "Episode" anywhere on it, and even if it did, it'd be rendered as "VII," for sure.

(3) It's not being sold by Amazon, and I find it hard to believe that some no name seller like P & E Enterprises would get this scoop.
And if it's true, I'm going to throw my hands up worse than I will for the other eventual family ties.

Saw this elsewhere.
This is a brilliant Star Wars documentary about the original trilogy, highly recommend it...

Nice interview with JJ

Quote:
We knew we weren’t just casting one movie—we were casting at least three. That, to me, was the biggest challenge. When we met Daisy Ridley, when we found John Boyega, and then Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver came aboard, we got really excited. And yes, Daisy and John could work together, but what happens when Harrison’s in the mix? What will that feel like? If it doesn’t spark, it’s a ****ing disaster. Yes, BB-8 is a great character, amazingly puppeteered, but what will happen when he’s suddenly in a scene with C-3P0 or R2-D2? Will it feel bizarre? Will it feel wrong? Somehow it didn’t. When Anthony Daniels told me, “Oh my God, I love BB-8!” I said, “We’re going to be OK.” Because if he’s OK, it’s working.

Huh. Very self-aware acknowledgements about his past.

Nice to read a piece that isn't just dripping wet, and to think that JJ might recognize his weaknesses even when others don't. If he does, I have no doubt his love of Star Wars will overwhelm any temptations to ego-ride, and will allow him to make the most of the people around him.

Yes he does

He seems to have focuses on how important the story is here. Was a very encouraging read.
