I find it hard to imagine that I'll ever sink as much time into a game again that I did with games like Skyrim, Fallout 3, and so on. I haven't booted up a game on my PS3 once since my daughter was born 2 months ago.

You might be able to once your daughter is a bit older. How's your daughter doing?

She's perfect, besides the video-game blocking! And yeah, when she can entertain herself, daddy will have more time to his little games. May be a while before I can afford a PS4, though.

Xbox One made South Park: The Stick of Truth backwards compatible. My 360 broke before I could play it. I'm so happy that I get a chance to play it now.

Tomb Raider is getting awesome reviews, but I'll wait until a Black Friday deal or something to get it. Halo 5 is taking up too much of my time right now.

My wife and I had a serious conversation after dinner tonight about how we'll manage our time and our childcare over the next 6 months in order for me to finish and defend my PhD dissertation while still keeping our family together; just last week, we had a similar conversation having to do with family finances. And yet, I'm sitting here thinking to myself, "Huh, it'd only be $400 for a PS4 and Fallout 4, and that might even include Star Wars Battlefront!"

Yeah, I think so. I need to go back and play the first Mass Effect. I never played it. 2 was my favorite. 3 was really good too.
