Not me. If LD2 was simply higher quality recordings of the leaks over the last few years it would be the best thing the band has released since LD1.

Of course, I'm down with a new album, too.

I'd even take the No Code/Yield reissue at this point.

What apart from "Cold Confession" and "Let It Ride" -- and maybe one or two of those tracks from the second round of Avocado demos -- has leaked in the past few years that would be of any interest on LD2?

Not sure, but apparently the RMer that got us those two said there was a disc with like 9 more songs on it, so it would be cool if it was a bunch of those.

I assumed a bunch of that stuff was the S/T Demo list.

I think it would be a good clearing house for a bunch of things we already know about:

- Studio version of Of The Earth
- A bunch of those S/T outtakes (perhaps with vocals over what are currently instrumentals)
- Cold Confession and Let It Ride

Plus the non-album songs from the last few years that haven't been released on CD yet:

- Olé
- Love Reign O'er Me
- Turning Mist
- Santa Cruz
- Better Things, etc.

And whatever else they didn't finish from the last two albums that we don't know about, I'm sure there's at least a few things.

I'm sure they'd have enough to pull together an interesting odds n' sods collection if they wanted to.

Not a bad idea at all for a musician to just clear house and have a fresh slate. It would get rid of this pattern they are in of "this song was leftover from the Backspacer sessions" and maybe start growing again as musicians.

It's kinda what Radiohead did with Hail To The Thief.

There's no way LD2 is happening. No one but diehard fans would give a shit. LD1 had big songs like "Yellow Ledbetter" and "Last Kiss". This wouldn't have anything that would compel average listeners.

I hear you, LV, but the thing is, Pearl jam had quite a few what you might call "die hard fans". Isn't it safe to assume there are 100,000+ members worldwide? That's a lot of $.

I think PJ have made it pretty clear that they don't care about diehard fans

No, they do. Too much. The problem is the die hard fans are the terrible fans with terrible tastes.

What does that have to do with releasing an album of songs they know will sell? Especially when it will take much less effort than recording a new album.
