Question: If there were really basic song demos from Vs–Yield... would you rather hear those with possible Ed mumbling melodies on top? Or would you rather have them, as current PJ, flesh them out and finish them off as complete songs?
why not do both? kind of like a bob dylan bootleg series release
I'm not remotely interested in hearing Yield outtakes ruined by Ed's awful newish singing habits and the bumbling efforts of their current mastering house of choice.
and that's exactly why if they're going to do that they should also include the unadulterated takes
awww so cute :)

Is this entire discussion based in some rumor on the pit about them just being in atlanta? Did I read that right a few pages ago?

I think I did read that correctly, and this is all just wasted text. No way there is another rarities album chock full of magically unearthed material. Sorry guys, not going to happen.

I fully expect that they have made it to the studio for a few days once or twice in the last 18 months, and maybe recently in Atlanta, even. But that most certainly is at most one of 4-5 one week recording sessions that they will spread out over three years before they cobble together twelve tunes for an album.

I mean, have they surprised us with anything really in the last decade? Why start now.

Oh god, is that a part of their repertoire now?

He's constantly fighting the urge to croon the slimy doctor parts.

At least the 2005 boots are available in .flac now so I can hear a great version of Eleanor Rigby from that one show.

They played in in St. Johns, I think. Check the 9/25/05 setlist.

The PJ page shows it was played between 1/2 full and black on 9/25. I just listened here: pearljambootlegs.org and it wasn't there

Guys, Pearl Jam have never played Eleanor Rigby.

I wouldn't be placing your trust in the official website as a reliable setlist source.

Don't give them any ideas for any more banal covers.

90% of the "covers" listed on the official site are fragments that were referenced in tags and whatnot. It does nothing but to the clutter up the list and confuse people.
