Oh man. Really awkward scene where he is talking about guns and they put on a little skit where he shoots his friend ...

Yea ill be interested to see how he comes back to the spotlight.

I would expect him to continue being Jesse Hughes. Just weird watching that scene now

A Facebook page has been created to garner support for Eagles Of Death Metal to reach the #1 spot on the UK Singles Chart following the heartbreaking Paris shootings over the weekend.

The US rock band were performing at the Bataclan hall before ISIS supporters opened fire and killed 87 concert-goers, while injuring hundreds more.

Though the band members were reportedly safe from the attacks, the group's merchandise seller Nick Alexander was tragically confirmed dead following the siege, as were four staff from their label, Mercury Records.

The online campaign is attempting to get EODM's cover of Duran Duran's Save A Prayer to top spot this week and so far the page has already garnered over 6000 likes.

"We thought it would be a nice gesture to put their brilliant version of 'Save A Prayer' to the UK No.1 spot as a show of support to the band and all of those affected," the page reads.

"For the record no we aren't associated with the band or their record company, we're just fans of them that feel happy to be alive as some of our fellow EODM fans are tragically not now."

On the UK iTunes Songs Chart, the song currently sits at #37, while their latest record Zipper Down is #30 on the Albums Chart.

Eagles Of Death Metal have cancelled their future European dates following the horrific attacks.

Just finished the documentary. Its actually a really well put together film. Interesting that there is one of Jesse Hughes but he is an interesting character. Really sad character and now with the events of the past weekend....kind of makes it heavier.

I suggest watching it though even as a music fan. Watching him and Homme in the studio is great. Wish there was even more of that.

Hopefully he gets to see his son now

Where were album sales before the attack? A lot lower than #30?

So it seems EODM were targeted specifically in this attack as they had played Israel and their lead guy had gotten a letter from the Pink floyd guy asking him to boycott Israel and not play there, and he went on a little rant about it onstage during their gig there. Also the Bataclan was targeted and has received threats in the past cos the owners are Jewish.

This is according to the Times of Israel.

Yeah, people are gonna say a lot of stuff but I'd almost guarantee this was just opportunistic as EoDM was the event that happened to be going on on the day. I doubt this is as much of a 'Jewish thing' as just a general 'kill as many infidels as possible' thing.

Yep, but the entire terrorist day of fun wasn't built solely around the EoDM show, that was just the show that happened to be on that day. I doubt there are too many western rock bands' shows that wouldn't be considered as a peversity to the fundamentalist fuckwits that carried out this.
