The Visit.

God, this guy used to know how to frame a movie...how to tell a story...why was this one a ¨found footage¨ movie? it doesnt make sense. Pretty boring.

Amy.

Well made doc, tons of cool footage from the inside circle...Actually, i appreciate her talents more after this movie. And a cautionary tale about fame maybe? Those papparazzis and their flashes were crazy scary.

Yeah, even as a fan of the found footage genre, this move did not suit Shyamalan's talents at all. His directorial composition was always his best quality, and it did NOT translate to this style.

And the funny part was that he wanted to show us he understand the FF genre by framing badly.

Well, he got it, I guess. Though, frankly, I thought After Earth was better (and that wasn't good).

Oh yeah, I never miss an episode. That was a really good one. He seems very passionate and genuine. He has to be the most influential figure in horror right now.

Pretty much yeah. I want him to produce a big movie. Maybe get a big director like Rob Zombie.

He produced The Lords of Salem! ;) But I can't really see him doing a "big" (read: expensive) movie. Seems antithetical to his approach. But I'm okay with that; low budgets allow him to take risks.

Following - it held my interest despite the awful acting

I really loved Following. But if one was going to remake a Chris Nolan film, it should probably be this one.

There is no reason for them to be remaking Memento - that film is perfect as it is. How long before Fight Club gets remade?

And I did enjoy Following - but the acting was pretty bad in places, which is understandable since it was just his mates he got together
