I read the synopsis on IMDB, I vaguely remember something about vampires and bursting into flames... :?

But I really don't recall much about that episode.

I need to start a series re-watch.

Saw "Hollywood A.D." the other day. I love it when the show gets goofy like that.

The show had a nice "goofy" run before it got super wonky and almost killed itself.

I'm having trouble getting through season 7. It's so dull. There's no weight anymore. I really miss the overarching conspiracy from the earlier seasons.

I remember the back half of season seven being pretty good, they were the last run of new episodes I enjoyed.

Just about a month away now. I'm definitely most excited for the non-mythology episodes--especially episodes 2 and 3--but will dutifully watch the whole series.

Yeah I've always been much more of a fan of the non mythology stuff.

If there's any hope, it's that most of the negative reviews apparently are focused on just the first episode. I'm holding out hope for the non-mythology ones.

I do wish they were doing more than six. It sounds like the first episode's going to be a lot of table-setting, getting the characters back into the plot.

This is from the Hollywood Reporter: "Carter’s dialogue is prone to exposition...and overheated soliloquies."

Have they, uh, ever watched an episode of The X-Files before? Especially a season premiere?

I've only read the headlines. I don't want anything spoiled.

I've been totally dark with the exception of a few trailers on Facebook. I saw a pic of William b Davis on the red carpet. He's looking hella old.
