There is only one way to settle this. We must rank the John Williams movie songs.

Imperial March
Star Wars
Superman
Raiders of the Lost Arc
Jaws
Most other SW songs
ET
whateverelse
Duel of Fates
Jurassic Park tops at least half of that list, and Schindler's List bests some of it, as well.

The Imperial March is perfect for what it does, especially in its first appearance, but is not remotely among the best work he's ever done.

Again, I think we need to rank the John Williams's scores. That man is a genius and has gifted us with some of the best and most iconic music ever made.

I don't know what they've all just agreed to in this scene, but I bet it's gross.

I really don't know how I would begin ranking Williams. It's all fucking iconic.

Apparently Williams isn't locked in for the next two and definitely isn't doing the spin offs either.

Hard to imagine someone else scoring them though. Who could do it?

I don't think it would make sense for him to do the spin-offs anyway. They're gonna be their own things.

Not surprised to hear he's not locked in for the next "main" chapters, though. How old is he, 120?

Just reading that bridge of lies is the 1st Spielberg film he hasn't soundtracked in forever and he couldn't do it cos poor health and the force awakens. Apparently Spielberg has two films on the way and they're clashing with the next two Star Wars films also.
Be interesting to see what happens.

I can't imagine anyone else scoring them but film scores and composers I know nothing about either. Might well be someone out there perfect for the task.

I do believe that this is when Zack Was playing Principal, kelly was a teacher, and slater cheated on a test or didnt pass the test and Zach wasn't going to let him play in the big game. They came to an agreement that he got another chance or something.

Grabbing the soundtracks now.

Still think Jedi is the best one but probably cos it's the only one I know, had it on cassette when I was small

Don't worry about spoilers as the scene has featured very heavily in the trailers and TV spots. Nice to hear some dialogue and new score too.

Hmm. Meh.

If you read the opening crawl today, there is most likely some info there that we do not know currently. How is that not a goddamn spoiler?
