Moonlander - Stone Gossard

When a band is but a fraction of Pearl Jam, but they aren't zero Pearl Jam.

Heh, parts of that kind of remind me of the verses of "Hotel California".

I like the song, and Stone sounds really good in it, but I think I hate the ending.

The more I listen to "Battle Cry", the more I like it.

Heard it immediately in the first few seconds of the song.

King of the Junkies is the pick of the litter so far. I Don't Wanna Go To Bed is too repetitive for my tastes.

This track a week stuff was fun for a couple of weeks. Now it's like a chore to open the files.

Now I'm bored with the album, and I haven't even heard the whole thing yet.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I cautiously agree. I didn't check out last week's track and I'm not really interested in checking this week's. I'm just going to wait for the whole thing. I guess that's why singles should only be certain songs and not every song from the record.

I wouldn't call the lyrics 'dark' .....I could think of a few other adjectives though.

Is there anywhere else to listen to I Don't Want to go to Bed besides SoundCloud? It's blocked at my work. Grrrrrr

So, am I reading correctly that there isn't going to be a physical CD release for this album?

I'm holding off on previewing the individual tracks but if I'm not going to be rewarded with that final "experience" I'm kind of starting to think why bother.

That was the implication. When asked directly, Ten Club is evasive.

I think the last two songs are my least favorite of the bunch. I really do like the chorus to "King of the Junkies" a lot, though.

Is that the one that sounds like Stone is singing Glen Hansard's Falling Slowly? Whichever song that is I have a hard time listening to without thinking of Glen singing it.
