I like Jack Black but doesn't have a lot of depth. I mean, he's not as shark-eyed and terrible in Kong as he is in something like Shallow Hal. But he's not at his best and I think there are a ton of actual actors who could have brought a lot more to the role.

i'm not sure jack black was the "perfect" choice for that role, but i thought he did well and it was the first time i didn't just outright dislike him in a role

and i agree with lv on the rampaging through new york being one of the weaker parts of the film

I have only seen some of the others, and it was in high school, so I don't know which ones or what I thought of them. Hopefully I make it through and come out the other side still interested in seeing Creed.
