This is from the startribune, local paper. I was so proud of my homestate when they legalized gay marriage....
In the glow of a vehicle’s interior light, the YouTube video shows two masked men as they cruise down Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis one night last week. The driver, who identifies himself as “SaigaMarine,” doesn’t hesitate to make his agenda clear.
“We are locked and loaded,” he says, holding up a black 1911-style pistol. As he flashes the gun, he explains amid racial slurs that the men are headed to the Black Lives Matter protest outside Minneapolis’ Fourth Precinct police headquarters. Their mission, he says, is “a little reverse cultural enriching.”
“We’re gonna see if we can have ourselves a little look-see,” adds his passenger, who identifies himself as “Black Powder Ranger.”
SaigaMarine tells viewers to stay tuned. “Stay white,” he says as he signs off.
On Tuesday, days after that video went public, four men were arrested in connection with Monday night’s shooting of five protesters a block from the Fourth Precinct headquarters in an act that drew condemnation coast to coast.

They were probably assholes, but I do wonder about this herding away business. Shooing away people from a public place? based on what? When about a dozen protesters attempted to herd the group away from the area, Noor said, they “opened fire on about six protesters,” hitting five of them. The victims — all black men ages 19 through 43 — were taken to local hospitals. Their injuries were not life threatening.

Re: The War on Terror /Central Asia/Mid East/Africa thread
What are thoughts on the Turkey/Russia fiasco? From most accounts it appears that Turkey is legit funding terrorism and ISIS. Does this lead 1 step closer to a full out war and if so do you think this could be beneficial to the war on terrorism as more countries through their hat in the ring and declare an "us against them" state sanctioned approach? Maybe a larger coalition of forces working together to reduce these terroristic channels throughout the middle east?

People need to realize the real situation here.
The assholes in charge of Turkey are supporting some assholes in Syria. The assholes in charge of Russia are supporting different assholes in Syria.
The western world can't find anyone to support in Syria who isn't an asshole, except possibly the Kurds. Except that the US doesn't want to support the Kurds too much because it would piss off the assholes in charge of Turkey. Even though the Turks are assholes, they used to not be assholes and the US kind of wants them to not be assholes again. So the US doesn't want to be assholes to Turkey, even though it means kind of being assholes to the Kurds.
So when some other assholes in Syria (who everyone agrees are assholes) attacked the French, the Russians decided to use it as an excuse to bomb some of the assholes in Syria that they don't like, and they figured no one would really pay much attention to whether or not the assholes they bombed were actually the assholes who attacked the French. And the western governments pretty much decided to just not make a fuss about specifically which assholes the Russians bombed, since they are all assholes.
Except that the Turks were pissed that the Russians were bombing their assholes. So they decided to be assholes and kill the assholes who were killing their assholes.
Meanwhile, the Syrian people are stuck in the middle. Surrounded by assholes on all sides, with pretty much no hope of anyone who isn't an asshole coming to help them.

A gunman attacked a planned parenthood office in Coloradi Springs. Fortunately the attacker was a middle aged white man so this was the act of a sick individual and a tragic consequence of our second amendment rights but the price we must pay to live in a free society, and not terrorism.

As an Englishman I wouldn't feel comfortable riding on a plane with an Irish person. I'm not saying they are ALL terrorists, I just don't want to take the chance.

Murder is bad, at least if you murder unborn babies, but if you murder other people its fine. Murder.stip wrote:A gunman attacked a planned parenthood office in Coloradi Springs. In this thread, stip throws around a bunch of unfounded generalities.
