It was pretty magical when I fired up Lukes lightsaber. Man. i had mine the entire time but when we got to him and he let me fire his up for a brief second. It was a monster and amazing.

Interesting but if you watch the trailer again on mute..are we responding to the music more than the visual? the SW fanfare would get anyones heart racing :)

For me it's the opening 10 seconds. :heartbeat:

That shit was EVERYTHING for me when it first dropped. Just brilliant.

It was mostly the music, paired with two iconic images, and the roar of the tie fighter. Since then I've fixated more on the feral way Kylo Ren moves

Crazy talk..the Falcon doing its impossible acrobatics just as the music breaks...that was it for me anyways..

as a teaser it did an amazing jonb though..the opening snippet with the landspeeder against the backdrop of the fallen star destroyer..pure perfect star wars cinema in only a couple of seconds..

I've watched each of the trailers twice. The Japanese one I watched 3 times. And I've seen a couple of the tv spots a few times. So, I don't know... all combined probably 10 (ish)?

Exposition X 3
Cut to main character Rey as she leggs it with Finn tie fighters in pursuit. They find the falcon there and an old man and his dog are digging it outta the sand.

The old man and his dog are unwilling to help until the tie fighters come over the hill and they take off and suddenly end up flying through a crashed star destroyer. But somehow escape and meet their better equipped allies who are on an assault on a frozen planet that has a big secret but Rey gets captured by the big baddie and a battle ensues and she's rescued by the old man who is shot in her rescue and his dying words are find the old force fella I told you about..here's his...light...saber....tell him...the darkness..has..returrrrrrrned....gaughfuchdjcbx...(dying breath)

Rey emabarks in a remarkably short journey ending in Ireland and finds said wizened old camera shy man and he takes his hood off for the first time in thirty years and suddenly you know asses are about to be kicked

Not the fun stuff.

I'm really sick with a flu and discovered hot whiskey and cloves.

Read that post again though. I'm probably not far off
