The edits in Michael bays films are only slightly faster than in JJ's.

Big fear I have for this film is that bad bullet fast editing where you can't actually take in a shot, it's cut to the next one all to quickly.

OMG, it just occurred to me that one of the heroes is held prisoner and tortured by the Vader stand-in. Good lord. Over/under on him being busted out of captivity by Han, Finn, and Rey?

I do really hate when Bay does that whiplash editing.

Renders the whole thing pointless and diminishes the efforts of the effects crews who took maybe two years to build it all in models and up to digital and worst of all the viewer is robbed of the experience of getting even a slightly worthwhile shot of those effects in such hyperactive cuts.

It's a massive waste of money.
Say what you will about peter Jackson but He knows when to let the camera linger on a big shot that took a lot of effort from a ton of different departments.

If it's a Starkiller planet that kills a sun and thus the planets around the sun, how do they move it around?
Or does it just strike from that fixed position? Across the galaxy? Or vast spaces to the sun the want to hit? If so it only can hit a supremely thin wedge along its equatorial orbit.

This is a pretty irresponsible article, considering they incorrectly translated "biggest" as "greatest". Clearly the biggest movie of all time does not mean the greatest.
