I saw someone disparagingly refer to Garcia's "brocals" in the comments under the new Homme AV Club article, I thought that was perfect.

I had an idiot try to convince me once that his voice is better than Homme's. I think that guy's grown up since then.

I would take a Kyuss album over any QotSA every fucking day of the week. Kyuss are immense. QotSA are a mere pop band in comparison.
