I would but she pretty much just expects me to load it now, which I am perfectly fine with.bodysnatcher wrote:yep that's exactly what my wife does too. nothing is straight. nothing is in any order. i should document this with photos.

I posted this a year ago in Things You Don't Understand thread:
it's really unbelievable how she loses a chromosome when it comes to putting 1 pot, 2 knives, a fork, and a glass in the thing.Chris_H_2 wrote:How my wife, who has an MBA from the University of Chicago, isn't smart enough to figure out how to load our damn dishwater.

Also, apparently the different slots in the silverware organizer in our drawer mean nothing to my wife when she puts the dishes away.

I'm ok on that end... except we have two different sized spoons and two different sized forks (I have no idea why), and she just mixes those up willy-nilly. Which, whatever, they're still forks.E.H. Got an iron on Pj patch and stuck it on my bag. The bag is from a company called some and cloth. They make the coolest bags. I'm happy with it. Not totally trusting the glue so gonna stitch it too.

fuck that. there's a slot for butter knives, a lot for large forks, a slot for smaller forks, and a slot for spoons. if i reach in for a a large (normal size, really) fork and instead get a small one....ragebodysnatcher wrote:I'm ok on that end... except we have two different sized spoons and two different sized forks (I have no idea why), and she just mixes those up willy-nilly. Well, to be honest, it bugs me. But I try and let it go. And it's really not all that common to happen, so when it does it's obvious we were in a hurrycutuphalfdead wrote:fuck that. there's a slot for butter knives, a lot for large forks, a slot for smaller forks, and a slot for spoons. if i reach in for a a large (normal size, really) fork and instead get a small one....ragebodysnatcher wrote:I'm ok on that end... except we have two different sized spoons and two different sized forks (I have no idea why), and she just mixes those up willy-nilly. Re: Goods thread (for when 10c puts things up for sale)
Unfortunately, I'm the one in the household who loads the dishwasher to no one's satisfaction. I don't put the knives pointy side up, but I do load it quickly and without reason and that frustrates my wife.ridleybradout wrote:My wife put the knives in pointy-side upBirds in Hell wrote:Guys, this is my life exactly. Re: Goods thread (for when 10c puts things up for sale)
My girlfriend does this AND she can't put anything in the dishwasher properly. I finally gave up and asked her to leave all of her dishes in the sink, and I would take care of them.doug rr wrote:i love when I look in the dishwasher and she has put a spoon in there with gobs of yogurt stuck to it or a plate with gravy on it

Goddamit mods. Sort this derail out.
