Ya know, I don't know if they still play that song and cartoon to children in preschool, but I still have nightmares from it.

Now with J.J., you get a whole new generation with a kind of dynamic mastery of camera and effects put together by someone that has a strong personality himself. He's a really decent guy, and he makes movies the way I try to make movies, which is that it's a privilege to make a movie and no one should be miserable. You're spitting in the face of luck if you're not having a great time. And that's infused in the movie. So what you're going to get is very much the J.J. Abrams movie.
I liked that description

Two Star Wars related thoughts I had today. We're at gale force 5 or something here right now. Intense 120km gusts coming at you from random directions.

I'd say getting hit by a force punch is kinda like that.

And now to scrape the speculative barrel, how do we know the force awakens doesn't refer to Leia?
Yoda did say 'there is another' in reference to her..

A few years back a British comedian did a show called Bring Back Star Wars, the premise being he goes and gets all the cast for a reunion. It's actually a very entertaining watch and the interviews with the cast members are great, Ford wouldn't take part and Hamill wanted something like $20,000 but everyone else is in.
Give it a watch.

Ford potentially dropped a huge spoiler in a Twitter Q&A.
I'm not posting it and pissed I read it.

Really wouldn't consider that a spoiler--it's officially released information, so it's basically just like a trailer, trying to build hype by dropping a few details. But, yeah, if you're in trailer blackout mode, avoid it at all costs.
