I just wanna walk around the Falcon. Inside and outside.

I'll build it full size someday. And put two bedroom back where the engines are and use the exhaust as Windows.

It will be. I spend a weird amount of time thinking about it.
Have a palm print to gain access. Have solar panels as the exhaust ports and Have the cockpit exactly as in the film but have the gun turrets as a circular / tubed hang out area. Have the main hold as the living area. And all the corridors I between exactly as in the film(the ESB version of the Falcon)

Stop me. I'll go on and on about this.

Geezes Carrie Fisher is a riot. I can't even imagine her attempting to act. how do you control her enough to get through a scene?

I thought it'd be interesting, now that we're less than two weeks away from the release date, to see what the board's reactions to this were when it was announced. These are all from the old board, around Halloween 2012:

Strat's response was tepid:
Hmm. Exciting if Lucas wasn't "creative consultant"
turned2black was pumped:
:D I'm pretty sure there is a god.
VinylGuy, not so much:
another movies?? guys, just let those movies go...they are great but they are over.
MAKE A NEW MOVIE.
Our old buddy Harmless was unimpressed:
Guys, this isn't going to be good. It's Disney. Plus, what have they got to build on?
chud, as always, felt like he was better than everybody:
I can't wait to hate this.
Despite how excited he eventually became, dime initially sounded worried:
I'm excited at the prospect of new star wars bit nervous about Disney making a balls of it. Will they pitch it to kids or try revamp it and make it cool again for all to enjoy? They couldn't really fuck it up any worse than Lucas did could they
This was McP's first post in the thread:
I don't even want to tell you how certain I was that this was a hoax when I first heard about it.
And later he added this:
Luke, Han, and Leia? That sounds exactly like something that has no hope of not being tragic.
Rafa wondered this...we miss you, buddy!
How long will this thread be by the time Episode VII comes out?
This was dime on page four of the old board's thread:
I've got a bad feeling about this
I entered the thread around page 5 to talk about the EU books (which Skitch brought up on an earlier page).

My first post on the subject did not come until page 32 of this thread, apparently
