I listened to 12 Bar Blues this morning...what a weird, eclectic album it is...

Imagine if someone like Ed or Kurt made this album....It would be consider a masterpiece for sure. If Thom Yorke made it everyone would be saying its his finest work, his return to pop music.

Fuck critics.

I had moved away from them the past 10 years or so, mostly from 90s grunge fatigue, but there's no denying their talent for making attractive music. It's hard to find a bad song on those first 3 records, but Purple and Riny Music are just crazy good.
