Westbrook is averaging 5.4 turnovers a game this season and already has 102. At this pace, he's gonna shatter all sorts of records.

Re: NBA Thread
People dont care as long as hes dropping big pts/reb/assist lines. I havent watched much thunder this year but the rest of the team outside of the durant westbrook turn taking probably wont polish up enough to get to championship level in my opinion.

As further proof the Rockets don't know what the fuck they're doing, reports say they want PHX's Markieff Morris. Enjoy your rectal cancer, Houston.

Phoenix is not a good basketball team right now. Id pull the trigger on that Morris trade just to try and shake things up at this point.

Is this 76ers team the worst team in NBA history?

Re: NBA Thread
Good job rebounding.....er just standing there, Niko. Even if random Euro guy missed it was an easy tap in as the corner shooter was totally ignored.
Its still early but its very troubling to me that the most obvious big man pairings are the ones Hoiberg never plays, especially not in the right situations. Literally every decision he made in the 4Q tonight was wrong against a struggling team that just wanted to go home.

Re: NBA Thread
Every now and then you see where someone has ranked their "all time starting 5" and of course you always see Michael Jordan on there from just about everyone.
LeBron has been a popular choice, see Shaq a lot also.
I don't know about you but my point guard is gonna be Steph Curry. I've yet to see anyone put him on their all-time list, but for me, he's already there.
Best shooter ever. There is no debate on that. Not Reggie, not Shuttlesworth, sorry guys. Plus Curry can handle, pass, and score in other ways.
I'll also take Jordan at the 2.
From there I don't need a lot of other scoring so my big men are gonna be good defenders/rebounders.

Re: NBA Thread
This is Steph's 7th season. This will be his 4th season averaging more than 20 points a game. He's averaging 6.8 assists a game for his career.
Oscar had 10 seasons of 20+ points a game. And four seasons of 30+ points and 11+ assists a game. He averaged 9.5 assists a game for his career. He also averaged about 3.5 more rebounds a game than Curry. His career field goal percentage is better than Steph's current career field goal percentage. And he did all this in an era when you could basically punch a guy in the nuts and not get called for a foul.
Outside of Wilt and MJ, I think you could make a case that The Big O had the most dominate 10-year ('60 to '70) stretch of any player in NBA history.
I'd also take Magic over Steph.

I agree. As good as Steph has been for the last year and a half hes going to need to do it for about 5 more years before he can get on Mt. Rushmore.

Re: NBA Thread
Hes still 160 lbs or whatever. Guards need to pick him up sooner and make him feel them, especially if they have a size advantage. Easier said than done but rough that dork up a little.
