I'd argue that the first Spurs series with the Cavs, the second one with the Heat, and last year against the Warriors do not reflect poorly upon him in any way. The two biggest failings in his career that should haunt him are the Mavs Finals and the Cavs-Celtics series.

LeBron was pretty terrible in that first Spurs series. He shot .356 in the series (.200 from 3). Average 6 turnovers a game and bricked a potential game-winning shot in game 3.

And also brought back Miami practically by himself in the 4th quarter of game 6 and hit the game clinching jumper in game 7.

Do you mean game 6 about the bricking a game-winning shot? If my memory is right both games 3 and 4 were blowouts, one by each team. It could also have been game 1 I suppose. That one was tight. Stupid Tony Parker hitting a step back three that he hadn't hit a single time all year.

He was also carrying that entire team. Pretty easy to gameplan for.

Those Cavs rank as one of the (if not the very) worst teams to ever reach a Finals. They overachieved by getting there. I simply don't believe in knocking a guy down a notch because he dragged a pretty mediocre team with him to the Finals.

I also think that Brady 4-2 in Super Bowls is more impressive than Montana/Bradshaw's 4-0, so I obviously don't hold championship losses against guys like most people do.

I hear dopey yes man Fred might start Taj tonight. Ive watched almost every game this year and its been a chore. Rose is just awful and the team looks disjointed. I think Boston wins tonight.

It happens in all sports whenever there is a dominant team (ex. 90's Bulls and early 10's Heat), so it doesn't really bother me. The team is likeable and really fun to watch. Can't blame casual fans for gravitating towards them.

I didnt really notice it with the Bulls. I was a kid fixated on mjs greatness and living in illinois. I bet it would have been pretty bad for the local fans of the Lakers or Celtics, who kinda sucked at the time to see all that beautiful red and black though.

The 90's Bulls and Cowboys are the first two teams I think of when thinking about bandwagon teams/fans.

I remember the Cowboys bandwagoners but I was to immersed in greatness growing up close to Chicago to notice the Bulls.

I'm jealous. This Bulls team is a 40 win team that makes your eyes bleed.

Jimmy Butler plays like a man.....so does Noah, he just sucks.Things have potential to get pretty ugly. Pau is a baby and has already made some whiney passive aggressive statements to the media. If Rose is going to play like this all season (he will) hes going to crumble beneath all the pressure and hate. His contract is one year too long. Somewhere Thibs is smiling. I do get some small satisfaction knowing how stupid gar and pax look in all of this but the good old boy network Reinsdorf runs will keep them around. This is the same org that employs Pete Meyers and Randy Brown as coaches simply because they used to pick up mjs sweaty underwear in the 90's.
