It would be pretty satisfying if the Celts ended the streak tonight.

Something tells me if someone ever seriously laid out Curry they would get it back and more from Bogut or Draymond.verb_to_trust wrote:Marcus Smart still out? Thomas cant check Steph. Maybe Crowder can hammer him a few times...

Bogut would hurt himself. Draymond is a mouth breather though. I could see him going all rabid dog on someone.

Bogut is the man. But, you're right, he would probably hurt himself. He's on my short list of guys in the NBA who would actually throw a punch that connects in a game.verb_to_trust wrote:Bogut would hurt himself. Draymond is a mouth breather though. I could see him going all rabid dog on someone.

One good thing about 90's basketball was definitely the fights and general hostility.

Yeah. Not enough animosity between players anymore. Its like they are all one big clique that scrimmages against one another.

I don't mind the friendship stuff. I think that's natural in this day and age. But it is always fun when you know two teams really hate each other. We still get that sometimes (Heat/Bulls, Heat/Pacers during the LeBron era, Clips/Dubs), but it still isn't the same. The NBA really did a good job legislating that stuff out of the league. I might miss it, but the cost of getting into a fight really is too high for it to be worth it for most guys.verb_to_trust wrote:Yeah. Not enough animosity between players anymore. Re: NBA Thread
It was funny when he got ejected last night after nobody even reacted to the play. Granted he almost decapitated Taj but I thought it was a flagrant 1. That clippers team sucks right now. Chirl Paul is regressing and the bench is really bad. Doc is so overrated too. I lol'd last night when reggie was saying how Doc doesnt go by the numbers he goes by 'feel'. If you don't prepare to buy into analytics at least somewhat in todays nba you arent going to get the job done.Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm patiently waiting for the day someone finally cold-cocks Griffin.4/5 wrote:I don't mind the friendship stuff. Re: NBA Thread
Doc Rivers is insanely overrated. He coached a very talented, extremely motivated, veteran team of players with parts that fit together perfectly to a single title. Maybe he did a good job there, sure. And players seem to like him. But man, commentators love to act like he's one of if not the best coach besides Pop and that's just crazy.
