Yeah, I think they're still clearly behind the Dodgers and somewhere with or just behind the Giants.numbers wrote:Even after all this, I don't think Arizona is the favorite in that division. I feel like they are doing what the Padres did last year but there isn't any escaping it if it doesn't take right away like SD did.

I think the Dodgers are still going to get another starter to replace Greinke too, whether it be Cueto or a trade.philpritchard wrote:Yeah, I think they're still clearly behind the Dodgers and somewhere with or just behind the Giants.numbers wrote:Even after all this, I don't think Arizona is the favorite in that division. I've heard that comparison too, but I think Arizona's pitching is now far and away better than what San Diego had last year.numbers wrote:Even after all this, I don't think Arizona is the favorite in that division. Arizona won 79 games last season with a combined WAR of 4.8 among their starting rotation. Greinke and Miller combined last year for a 12.9 WAR. And Corbin will be worth considerably more wins this year if they get a full year out of him.

Awesome, that's hilarious. How dare you take 23 million dollars a year to play a kids game in another city.

That's a pretty scary lineup. It's no Jays lineup, but it's still pretty scary.Chris_H_2 wrote:So right now, it looks like:

Yeah, but it's not like you just get to plug Zobrist in. You have to remove one of Baez, Soler or Schwarber.cutuphalfdead wrote:It's missing Zobrist.philpritchard wrote:That's a pretty scary lineup. It's no Jays lineup, but it's still pretty scary.Chris_H_2 wrote:So right now, it looks like:

The Jays have the advantage of having a DH though, obviously.
