Self caught rooster fish

Brushed with a sauce of:
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
Brown sugar
Fine chopped green onion
Garlic
Ginger
Chili flakes

Broiled, with white rice and green beans sauted in butter, garlic, and spicy vinegar

Never had not heard of rooster fish until this trip and based on a quick google search I was getting nervous based on reviews. Straight polar- love or hate. No in between. However I found it to be very tasty- very like salmon but less fishy. So stoked to have brought home an ice chest full

you take it out of the freezer, put in the fridge, wait a few hours for it to thaw, and enjoy.
