Apparently there are rumours of an Australian tour, as a result of the twitter q&a, but I'm not sure how/where they got that indicator. Usually the don't come here unless they have a new album.

Wonder if that means they'll make it here. Guessing it'd be the end of next year to catch our summer

If this news story reflects the strength of the rumour, I'd say it's safe to ignore it.

Unless there's some murmuring going on in the background that nobody has heard about until now, the tour dates being announced in January will be the East Coast US tour that every man and their dog already knows about (possibly the Euro dates too).

Historically the band have toured Australia/NZ in either November or March (roughly), so I'd expect to see them late next year at the very earliest or early 2017.

I missed the live chat, but in going through it, I learned (or didn't really) one piece of info that is important to me.

Someone asked about playing in the arena in Louisville (KFC Yum Center). Jeff said basically "they play a lot of basketball there. But I love Louisville"

My hometown has gotten one (1!) show ever from PJ, back in 1994. There was a state of the art arena (YUM Center) built downtown about 5 years ago, and I've seen many acts there. Both Springsteen and the Who have played there more than once just in the last 5 years.

Jeff's answer gave me no confidence they plan on playing there any time soon. Probably never.

I don't know what was worse, those dorks asking questions, Kelly Curtis the walking corpse, or you dudes in here getting bent about a 1 hour chat on Twitter.

It was 1 hour and 50 minutes . Way past midnight here and I loved it. Even though people didn't ask specific enough questions, allowing them to be vague. I love that Jeff watched and likes Leftovers
