I just watched the trench run from A New Hope again. that's a magnificent sequence, and one of the few (only) places where Lucas' additions improved it. The whole thing is so tense, and the endless trench is really claustrophobic.

Guys, I am 24 hours and 30 minutes away. I'm tempted to go try and get a ticket for a late night showing tonight, but I promised my friends I wouldn't.

To be honest, I'm really only scared of the crowd. I'm nonplussed about the movie.Strat wrote:You'll hate it, Ill gush over it, we'll roll our eyes towards each other, and we will move on.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I'm scared, Strat. Definitely liked it more the second time. No stars in the eyes just Star Wars.

I'm doing 3d Imax tomorrow. I have glasses so 3d is normally kind of irritating, but I wanted the imax.

Re: STAR WARS SPOILER THREAD. SPOILERS WITHIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gonna wind back on the music. It's good. But doesn't approach the quality we've heard before. Even in the prequels.

3D is irrelevant here.
One or two star destroyer shots it looks amazing. Other than that and maybe an X wing shot it's not used, thankfully

In the cinema today, I had a chap round the same age as me sitting to my right, his son was next to him in his right, and he was getting weepy n sniffly at the same points I was
could see it meant as much to him as it does me..he was tryna hide it cos his young son, 8 or 9 was beside him. Warmed my heart so much
the son never noticed. He was leaning forward jaw dropped and staring at the screen the whole time.

Hoping to go and see this tomorrow morning with Mrs Rangi and Little Rangi. Is this movie suitable for a four week old?

I can't wait to take my boy to the next one in a few years. 7/8 and up I'd guess is about right.

I wouldn't dave. It's mad loud.
Get a baby sitter and you and herself indoors have a night out.
You'd be outta the screen in two minutes if baby starts crying. And this is loud so there will be crying.

What age would you say, Zeb? 6 or 7 depending on the kid?
