Nightjars - The Natural Playmate

Canadian duo of Eric Chenaux on electric guitar and Jason Benoit on banjo. Was sort of secretly released in a super-limited fashion a few years ago as the last release in the Rat-Drifting (http://rat-drifting.com/) records catalog. Spellbinding stuff; just weird notes and textures all over the place. I bought it directly from Eric Chenaux recently and have listened to it a lot over the last week.
