Refs have done a much better job of not calling it as of late (I haven't watched last night's game), but there is still much work to be done.Electromatic wrote:pnjguy wrote:

Flopping and or referee inducement is ruining sport.

so double technical?
its easy to sit there and say all these guys are flopping on contact but its really hard to judge how much force is used. remember these are men who are 6'6+ and fairly strong

i can say with certainty that you wont hear me bitch about anyone flopping, i think its funny and will only bite them in the ass.
i am sure tony allen is going to not get a few calls next year cause of his flopping and im sure some stars dont get the calls they want when they actually do get fouled cause of it

They use 1980's wrestling tapes as comparisons to judge flopping on the monitors.
That and Christiano Ronaldo going through daily life.

Someone was doing that in Chicago earlier this year:4/5 wrote:Ha! A Pacers fan is holding a sign "Heat fans love Nickleback"
While patently untrue big props to him for a hilarious sign.

Re: NBA Thread
That 3rd quarter was so much fun. I don't know how successful the Heat can be playing like Cleveland 2.0 but for the moment I'm just gonna enjoy what LeBron did last night.
And my boy UD! Coming up huge again. If I was Vogel I'd still let him take that shot as much as he wants, but here's to hoping that he keeps knocking it down.

It's like Lebron realized he was the best player in the world during the 3rd quarter.

He is now my favorite player.

He has been terrible. Who do you give the chunk of minutes to if not Wade though?4/5 wrote:I hope spo has the balls to keep wade on the bench.

Re: NBA Thread
Mike miller. Anybody else really. He's a huge liability out there right now. With him on the court the Heat are practically playing 4 on 5 offensively. And if Anthony's out there too it's almost 3 on 5. Obviously he's hurt, but he has nothing to offer and he's making the team worse IMO.
My major miscalculation in this series was thinking Bosh would knock down shots, and spread the defense create space for lebron, etc. But he's been even more useless than Wade.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Indy wins by 20+ tomorrow night.

Re: NBA Thread
I hate to even say this, but I think the Heat are gonna need another 15+ point night from Haslem to win this series.
Indy has been crazy difficult to handle in the paint. If we squeak past the Pacers, and least the Spurs don't have the size to do the same....I think.
