it's not meant to be a reveal as much as a way to tie all the movies together. i think the possibility of palpatine's former master being the new bad guy is more interesting than it being just another random asshole who wants to rule the galaxy.
Agreed

I hope to god they don't do another force child though. That was appallingly stupid the first time

I can't see JJ going there. He's spoken enough about how the midichlorian is not something he connected to

There was a scene where Finn was showing Han an area of the starkiller base. Han asked what he did when he was a stormtrooper. Finn replied "sanitation". True story.

So storm troopers who work on this most important secret thing ever are just cycled out into the general storm trooper population?

Did anyone else think hearing the word "boyfriend" in a Star Wars movie felt a little odd?

He's executive producer of the next one I heard. And him and Johnson have locked in on the script and story and where it will go apparently.

Yes. As well as "now that's what I'm talking about"
a line here and there sounding out of place doesn't bother me too much, especially after the last 3 SW movies that were released.

Team, it's a major hassle for me to get to a 2D screening. Will I hate the 3D?

Try to remember how strange and old world a lot of the dialogue in the OT is too though.

Remember ford tellin Lucas you can wrote this but you can't say it. Nobody talks like this.

Do people still say "now that's what I'm talking about?"

Follow up question: Are these people on the family feud?

The whole final scene took me outta the film utterly. Cos it's clearly Ireland. Wish they'd cgi'd something about it

The 3D isn't worth it and takes away from it.

I'm told the imax 3D is incredible tho
