It makes sense Lando isn't still working with Leia and all them. He probably owns his own moon. Planning heists.

Did you all know that during the flashback scene, the voice saying "Rey!" is Ewan McGreggor?

He PMd me about it earlier. Give him time guys. He wants to read the thread before replying so he avoids any criticism of rehashing old ideas.

He struggles with where his cinematic values lie.

Yes. As well as "now that's what I'm talking about"
And "hell no", and "DID YOU SEE THAT?"

I used to feel that way till ir ecently watched it again. The opening rescue sequence is just too long and dull. Then much of the ewok scenes are too long before the battle. I love the ewoks (true) but it just goes on too long.

Im not sure where TFA will hold up but off the bat its 3rd best.
Whaaaat? I love everything about that Tattooine rescue. It's some of my favorite SW material (not counting the song in the special edition, of course). And I don't think the Ewok stuff is too long either. I don't see any significant difference in the pacing between this and the other films. The Dagobah stuff is also quite long in ESB.
its fantastic i just think it drags a little. At least when I watched it last time. I think it could have been cut down is all. The actual rescue once luke shows up is great.

The great thing about today's breakneck pacing and cheap storytelling shortcuts is that we don't have to spend so much time crafting a story in between our action sequences.
Shut up. Its a little too long.

You know how a dogs litter can have different fathers. Well that one time Lando came around for dinner and Leia got a little drunk...
