my point still stands. It was dumb line. How does that line get by everyone? Hollywood is a bunch of yes men.

Most of Boyega's "action hero lines" were booty

How long is it before the tide goes out on TFA and RM hates it?

It's having an unusually long day in the sun:)

Just kidding I still love it. Gonna see it one more time in the cinema over Christmas and handy to have the torrents one for dialogue

so maybe some storm troopers have that gun with the energy bayonet because they are trained to go after Luke. That's why those soldiers are on Maz's planet, after all

More and more convinced Han and Leia know who Rey is.

Leia would be able to sense it, I would think. It's probably why they have that hug at the end.

It's that long hug when they arrive back but more, they've had a conversation were not party to before she leaves to find Luke and all we do get is 'may the force be with you'.

So perhaps Leia has told her of her connection to Luke and sends her off to get him rather than arriving with a fleet.

Production notes for the Skellig scenes say Luke is guarding a sith tomb.
No idea what to make of that at all

Dime, is there some kind of obvious tomb or cave or something in that final shot?

He seems to be standing at a headstone. But further up the hill to Reys right there's a cave entrance which I took to be his dwelling. A lot of focus was put on that cave during filming there and people reported seeing cooking utensils etc.

So perhaps it's not the first temple but a sith tomb with some sort of powerful artefacts that he's keeping under guard in case Snoke etc Come to find them?

I do too but how do we know he'll answer the call?
He might be reluctant to get involved again after his self perceived failure with whichever student it was went rogue?

And in that light he might not want to train Rey?

I liked Finn in the movie. I thought he was a pretty interesting character, and he was kinda fun.

I liked Finn as well. Interesting character, unique background for a star wars hero and his showdown in the snow was very visceral - particularly for a star wars moment.
Spoiler: show
I got the vibe that Finn knew he was going to get crushed by Ren but he felt like he had to stand up to him. I think that said a lot about his growth as a character

Well she is the first friend he's ever had and he's determined to prove to himself he's a good person given his background and what he was born and trained to be.

Hope we see adventures with him and Poe down the line.
