Just Cause 3 is cheap junk.

it's been a let down.

Glad I didn't bother. Number 2 was a bit of fun, but it had no real longterm value.

don't get me wrong, as a huge fan of jc2 i'm still enjoying this game, but various things like the omnipresent leaderboards i couldn't give two shits about, some of the bugs present that should never be an issue on release, and the new upgrade system (which requires mastering various tasks like racing/marksmanship/wingsuiting to get the best equipment) have been points of frustration for me. i'm a casual gamer and jc2 was great because you didn't have to be great at the game to get everything you needed/wanted to create mayhem. i feel a bit like they've shut out players like me who love the game and just want to have fun with it instead of being forced to master the game to get the most from it.

The controls, physics, and general gameplay dynamics feel antiquated as fuck, though. What modern shooter doesn't even let you aim down the sights?!

Wwe 2k16 has an add on you can buy for $2 that unlocks everything for you. I really wish more games had that.

Just Cause has always been a "tweener" version of GTA in my mind. It's open and explodable, but less bloody/sexual. Plus the fantastical aspects (you are nearly invincible, you can basically fly) are total "I wish I could play my brother's games, but they are too hard."

My son got an Xbox one, JC3 and Battlefront for Christmas. He's loving it.

It stacks pretty uneven for people who have played long enough to have purchased good equipment. After hours of play, my 10 year old now slaughters large masses of adult players courtesy of his high end magic blaster.
