You mean outside of Morricone's score? There wasn't much; like two or three songs. "Apple Blossom" by The White Stripes was one of them. I thought all the songs were weird and out of place. I wish it had just been score.E.H. Ruddock wrote:LV, what was the soundtrack like?

Well, now i got my hope back. Its been a while since i really enjoy one of his movies.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Probably his best film since Jackie Brown. I was pretty unsure through most of the first half, but with an over-the-top scene right before the intermission, it won me over, and I had a blast in the wildly violent and funny second half. It began to subtly turn things that were bugging me on their head in a way I wasn't expecting from QT.
It's sort of like Reservoir Dogs reimagined as a 3-hour, 70mm, western gore comedy. I gotta chew on it for a while, but I definitely enjoyed it.

I saw the trailer of ¨point break¨.
Why did they called it that way is a mystery to me.

How come? Looks like the same basic plot as the original, just a very different setting/aesthetic.VinylGuy wrote:I saw the trailer of ¨point break¨.

The original is a great movie. Not really sure it needed remaking.

The original is fine. Kinda overrated. But this won't affect it.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

As a 90s teenager, this movie was a blast. I am skeptical that the new one will hold any sort of emotional connection beyond the admittedly awesome visuals.
