One of my favorite running gags in any movie is in She's All That, where in every scene the father is watching Jeopardy and gets every question wrong.

I dunno, I think it's in your wheelhouse. Pure '80s fantasy that blends location photography, puppets, stop-motion, and matte paintings. Plus, fucking ewoks.
