If Indy hadn't run that "trick punt" play against the Patriots earlier this year, then the last 5 seconds of the first half of the game tonight would be the most bizarre thing I've seen all season.

Why were they going to spike it though? There was only six seconds left and they were coming off an eagles timeout. Why come out and spike it instead of kicking a field goal?

Here is my theory: before the delay of game penalty (which should probably be an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, huh?) they planned to spike it. After the penalty, for some reason, they were going to run a fake-spike fade, but the refs blew it dead. And that just confused the shit out of Curt Cousins.

I'm also not exactly sure if they actually know any of the doping policies for the various leagues. Pretty sure most of the stuff they were talking about isn't actually illegal.
