I somehow won my league with a 10-5 record. Was the 4th seed in the four team playoff. Second time to be champ in 4 years. Other league members are not thrilled

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
So there was a stat correction and I lost by 0.4. I thought the deadline for stat corrections was the Tuesday after. This sucks worse than the time I lost the championship on the last play of Week 16. WTF!?CopperTom wrote:Champion! Won by a point. 11-3 regular season.

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
Our draft is this Sunday. I have the 12 spot in a 12 team league.
Honestly though it's just not as fun to me anymore; I think this will probably be my last go around. I know, I said the same thing last season.

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
i know what you mean...i played in a money league last year for the first time and actually won, but it was a work league at a company i'm no longer at...i've agreed to defend my title, but the draft is on a sunday at a bad time for me...the commissioner said they have backup teams, so i'm debating just letting one of them take my placeBiff Pocoroba wrote:Our draft is this Sunday. last year was my best year yet though...i won 2 leagues and made the semifinals in the other...3 teams is definitely a chore though

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
I don't want to keep up with all the teams and follow so many players on a week to week basis anymore. I don't want to care about a late scratch or a questionable player on Monday or the Thursday game at all.
It's part of my dwindling interest in sports in general the past couple years.

i tend to go through phases...i do still follow the nfl and college football fairly closely, but if not for fantasy football i probably would slack off on the nflBiff Pocoroba wrote:I don't want to keep up with all the teams and follow so many players on a week to week basis anymore. Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
Jamaal Charles is a viable fantasy option this year. They're going to rest him a lot and rotate West and Ware (maybe even Davis). Jamaal is going to get a lot of red zone opportunities and he's still their best receiver. So if you're in a PPR league his stock rises.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:is it still around? i competed in it a few years, but i thought it died outdurdencommatyler wrote:Who's running the RM league this year?

I'm not sure I would take him in the first round unless seven or eight other guys are gone already. He's a round 2 guy absolutely and maybe a round one depending on how the draft goes.
If he's still there in round three I'd take him over any other player at any position, honestly. That's insane value. But if you miss out on him, I'd also recommend targeting West.

Re: Fantasy Football Discussion
yeah i don't see him lasting to round 3 in most leagues...if i had an early to mid 1st round pick and he fell to me in the second, i'd probably be cautiously happydurdencommatyler wrote:Jamaal Charles is a viable fantasy option this year. i think our league is expanding from ten to twelve teams, which will be interesting.
