They didn't go all evil, but it's missing most of what makes the song awesome.
What I imagine is Ringo wailing on the bell of a ride cymbal, George out front nailing that riff...and it sounds like they used a metronome. :?

Yeah, it's more of a straight cover -- that metronomic drumming is a Matt Cameron hallmark -- but not bad. I think it was a Peel session or something. I really like their "Come Together" cover, though -- putting the guitar in the bass role really puts their stamp on the arrangement, and the plodding sludginess is an affectionate desecration.
