Picked up GTA V on sale for the PS4. Already played it a fair bit on the 360, but wanted to check out the next gen version. Damn, that video editor is a lot of fun, especially since you can change camera angles and the like.
You can make some pretty fucked up movies.

Re: The all inclusive video game thread
Been playing my new PS4 since Xmas. Initial thoughts on games:
Star Wars: Battlefront is a blast. It's not deep, and as someone mentioned it does skew heavily towards established players, but once you start figuring things out, it really is non-stop fun. The Jakku and Walker Assault missions are the best, and the game really opens up once you get beyond the early phase of running around and shooting at anything that moves. Taking cover and using more advanced weaponry brings in a real element of skill.
Rocket League is super simple, super fun. Press start and let the mayhem begin. Turn it off without hesitation.
The real surprise is the free PS Plus download this month of King's Quest volume 1. I was a HUGE Sierra game fan as a kid (King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, etc). I even wrote to the company when I was nine asking how I might get a job there. This update bring back all the heart and humor of the original series, and Christopher Lloyd's narration is fantastic. Much respect for the designers/fans for bringing this series back to life.

wait a sec. King's Quest?! I remember 4 being frustratingly hard and I never got far in it. Maybe I'll download this to see how I faretragabigzanda wrote:Been playing my new PS4 since Xmas. Initial thoughts on games:

Oof, King's Quest 4 was the worst in the series. Very difficult puzzles, and Rosella just wasn't interesting to me as a kid.Mecca wrote:wait a sec. King's Quest?! I'm going to replay Bloodborne. I've been seeing it on several GOTY lists and now I can't stop thinking about it.
Played the first episode of Game of Thrones. Much better framerate and loading times on the PS4 compared to the PS3 versions of other Telltale games.

Man, the Bloodborne footage I've seen does nothing for me. Hack and slash, hack and slash, hack and slash...Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm going to replay Bloodborne. I've been seeing it on several GOTY lists and now I can't stop thinking about it.

I love that game, but it's damn near broken on PS3. I hope I can get the second season on PS4 without any save transfer issues.Monkey_Driven wrote:

Hard to appreciate it unless you play it. That being said, that type of game is not for everyone.tragabigzanda wrote:Man, the Bloodborne footage I've seen does nothing for me. Tried to jump into the multiplayer missions yesterday, but it kept crashing on me during load - so for now I'm still just doing the solo missionstragabigzanda wrote:

I'm the same. I don't want to buy the game, then DLC\Season Pass and PS+. Too much. I'm gonna have to get PS+ for Uncharted Multiplayer but that's a few months out.

I figure I'll pick it up once the inevitable GOTY edition comes out with all the DLC included.
