Thanks Strat. That was the first time I saw that interview and it was good.
Totally different side of Axl. Was fun.
Why the fuck did he cancel this week though? lol. I was hoping he would pull through and give a full official announcement. I am also still curious as to who the line up is going to be.
Im watching a video of one of the shows last year that Duff played and wondering what the fuck the differnce will be with the addition of slash. its still not GnR; especially if they have 5 other guitarists on stage with him
Guys! guys! guys! I have an awesome video you need to watch here. IT is classic "even more Guns N Roses Hilarity"! It suits this thread well. You wont believe what happens click here!
Oh, and then fast forward to the 27:10 mark.
Please. Oh, god, please.
I cant believe that. That is so hilarious. How do you hit those notes and continue playing and be dead serious about it? My god that is the best thing ive heard all year.

Lol. God I hope not.
When the hell are they going to announce the official lineup?
I kinda hope they don't. I think it would be hilarious if they never actually announce a reunion, have Axl's current GnR band book shows based entirely on incorrect rumors of a reunion.
It basically would be a rock and roll version of the Distinguished Gentleman.

So far it seems its GNR with special guests Slash and Duff. Kinda like he did with Duff actually last year.
In an apparent bid to find someone who could match Slash in both chops and headgear, Axl hired Brian Patrick Carroll — a.k.a., the mask-and KFC bucket-sporting cult guitarist Buckethead — to fill the band's vacant lead guitar spot. Buckethead insisted on recording his parts for Chinese Democracy in a specially built chicken coop decorated with rubber chicken parts; and when Axl's pet wolf puppy took a dump in Buckethead's cage, the guitarist refused to let anyone remove the turd, claiming that he loved the scent. For a while, Buckethead also kept a TV monitor in his coop that streamed constant hardcore porn, an affectation that reportedly offended Axl far more than the lingering wolf poop fumes.
