What kind are you looking for? Races? Training tips?
For races, I know there's a shitload of spring marathons in the Coastal Virginia area. Also, a friend of mine has done 300+ marathons and she says the Sugarloaf Marathon in Maine is her favorite. If I remember correctly, that'd be about a 5-hour drive for you.
If you're looking for a destination race, Big Sur International is an obvious choice, but it's not PR friendly. Registration closed a long time ago, but they have travel packages still available. There are also a bunch of Spring marathons along the Oregon and Washington coast that are fast and beautiful including the Newport Marathon.
Indeed I was asking about races. I have heard very good things about Sugarloaf and had it penciled in as my first marathon until life happened. Funnily I also looked at Big Sur because I will be in CA in April but logistically it just doesn't work, I was actually going to get entry through the Boomer Esiason Foundation.
Right now I have the PA Grand Canyon marked down, it's a ways out so I am considering one before but I've heard the area is fantastic.
Wow! That race looks awesome! Course doesn't exactly seem PR friendly, but I'd rather have some hills and trees than pound the pavement in some congested city for several hours.
Think I'm gonna stick to a 4-mile minimum for my streak. Means I can be done in 30 minutes. I'm gonna map out an out-and-back 4-miler from my job so I can get it done on really busy days.

As much as I enjoyed Philly I've been seriously thinking of non-city races, a bunch tend toward trails which I'd love to get to in time but that one seemed like a good mix. My girl was out that way for a beer release recently and reiterated how beautiful the area is, that draws me in far more than a big party atmosphere in a city.
I'm going to start mixing in more trail miles for my longer runs and look forward to getting the pups out for winter hikes. I should probably get another pair of shoes for winter training.
Ran the last 4 days. Yesterday did a 14-mile trail run in rain/sleet with 30 to 40 MPH winds. Normally takes ~2:10. Took over 3 hours. Fell twice. Saw deer, bighorn sheep and a few pygmy owls in their saguaro nests.
The wife was worried. That may have been my last Christmas day run.

pfft...
Given the full day off on holidays I've taken to going on longer bike rides; they've been enjoyable and it looks like my plans may have been altered so Friday may be another, but time will tell I guess
Ran a new 7K loop in the daylight today since I'll be starting it in early morning dark, not bad but was windy as hell on the coast.
Picked up my first overuse injury in a good long while in my left hip. I think its a problem involving my IT band but I can't be sure. Its been sleeting out all day so maybe now is the time for some recovery.
I ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes yesterday. First time running in any sense of the word since my injury.
It was a struggle and I had to stop every 12 minutes or so to walk it out....But i fucking did it and it felt so great. My psoas and hip flexors are sore today but I think it has more to do with the fact that I have not ran in a long time, more than it being injured.
7.5 on my favorite trail on Saturday. 10 in 69 minutes yesterday. Woke up with a little head cold this morning. Was gonna run a trail again after work, but will probably hit the gym and do my minimum then hit the sauna.
Drew the line at single digits until I get some actual outdoor gear. 3.5 on the treadmill, which I hadn't been on since late summer perhaps. 5 in the books.
Hit the high school track yesterday after work for 4 miles, then did 20 minutes of stadium steps. Was gonna do the same today, but it's been raining all day, so I hit the work treadmill at lunch and did 5 miles. Now I'm working with sweaty balls.
