What's been the shortest recent gap between announcement and tour? Spring 2010?

Yes. That was only 6 weeks from announcement to the first show. We can still get 90 days notice for this leg.

I think if they do shows in philly this year, I'm gonna go there. Never been to show IN philly, only at Camden.

But you can make fun of the next door Eagles, Phillies and Sixers instead.

I always hated the venue in Camden. I saw Radiohead, Pixies and Weezer there and they were all super weak shows due to the sound quality. Unless you're in the pit, once they open the outside walls the sound just disappears. So I always refused to see PJ there. Wells Fargo Center is a way better venue for them. My favorite show was there in 2005. I would kill to see them play a series of smaller shows at Tower Theater. That's the best venue in the region in terms of amazing sound quality.

Interesting if they are playing jazzfest again. I guess that could fill in one of the open dates around Lexington if the dates posted on the main page are accurate.

Neil Young, Paul Simon, Van Morrison, Elvis Costello, Stevie Wonder, Buddy Guy, Bonne Raitt, Herbie Hancock all at the same festival? Holy shit, if true that's impressive.
